What is Phonics First™?
Phonics First™ is RLAC’s very own nationally accredited methodology to teaching literacy. Our dynamic and interactive professional development courses and workshops give special and general education teachers the knowledge and expertise to implement evidence based strategies that will improve student achievement. Based on the Orton-Gillingham approach to reading, Phonics First™ is language-based, multisensory, structured, sequential, cumulative, cognitive, and flexible.
