Sound Out U.S. Sports

For reluctant readers who have enjoyed previous Sound Out Chapter Book sets, here is a new non-fiction series at the Sound Out 'C' Level. Each phonics-based chapter book in the U.S. Sports series gives reluctant or beginning readers a chance to explore six different sports including:

·  Stock Car Racing

·  Golf

With all Sound Out Chapter Books, students have a chance to read engaging informational text while the controlled vocabulary helps them practice phonics and basic word-building skills. Sound Out Level C introduces the following skills: one-syllable spelling patters, word endings, compound words, prefixes and suffixes, and simple two-syllable words.

Each book is 5x7, 32 pages.
