The Alphabet Series

This volume of 18 vocabulary controlled selections enables students to apply their phonics skills in context. The stories, which increase in difficulty as the lessons progress, help students practice target words and review sounds and sight words. The Volume 1 storybooks correspond to the first third of the lessons in the manual.

The Volume 2 storybooks correspond to the second third of the lessons in the manual. Skills addressed include blends, long vowels, sounds for c and g, r-controlled vowels and -ed and -ing suffixes.

This third volume of 3 vocabulary-controlled selections enables students to apply their phonics skills in context. The 3 phonetically-controlled readers, which increase in difficulty as the lessons progress, help students review target words, sounds and sight words. The stories enable emergent and struggling readers to practice skills as they read motivating, engaging stories. The Volume 3 readers correspond to the final third of the lessons in the manual.
